The Quesnel Trough is a 600 kilometer long geological belt extending from Mt. Polley in the south, to the Kemess deposit in the north. It has excellent potential for additional discoveries, especially below the range of the shallowly focused previous exploration. Recent discoveries of deeper, higher-grade mineralization at both Kemess and Mt. Polley illustrate this potential.
