Osatenko Position: Chief Geologist Mr. Osatenko brings 35 years exploration experience with Teck Cominco Limited, Cominco Ltd. and related companies where he specialized in the identification and discovery if large tonnage porphyry copper and copper-gold deposits. He has detailed experience with these deposits over a geographical range from the large copper deposits of Chile to the Highland Valley of British Columbia and to the Pebble Copper-Gold deposit in Alaska. | |
| Alec Peck Position: CFO Mr. Peck completed his CA requirements with Deloitte & Touche Chartered Accountants in Vancouver. He then practiced in Alberta prior to moving to Toronto. From 1986 until 1993, he was a partner with member offices of the public accounting firm Horwath International. From 1993 until March 2004 he was a Vice President in the corporate finance group of publicly listed full service investment dealers, first with CM Oliver and then Canaccord Capital Corporation which acquired CM Oliver in 1998. He currently provides senior financial and advisory services to Canadian private and public corporations, acting in officer or director capacities. | |
| Pamela White Position: Corporate Secretary Ms. White has approximately 20 years experience in the TSX Venture Exchange industry, working as a senior securities legal assistant for over 15 years, as well as acting as Corporate Secretary and General Office Manager for a number of resource exploration companies listed on the Exchange. | |
| George Tikkanen Position: Director Mr. Tikkanen brings to the company more than 40 years of exploration and mining experience, including more than 29 years at the corporate and board level. He retired from Cominco in 1999 as Vice President Exploration and was President of Cominco Resources, a TSE listed company from its inception in 1987 until 1995. In the course of his career he was responsible for the management of a number of underground and open-pit mines in several countries and oversaw the discovery of acquisition of many mineral deposits. | |
| Victor A. Tanaka Position: Director Mr. Tanaka has over 30 years experience as a geologist and exploration manager with junior and senior companies. During his career he has participated in numerous mineral discoveries. He is currently President and Director of Fjordland Exploration Inc. and Pathfinder Resources Ltd. He has held senior positions with Freeport McMoran Gold Co., Aber Resources Ltd., Asamera Inc., Cominco Ltd. and Canarc Resources. | |
| Lewis Lawrick Position: Director Mr. Lawrick brings 20 years of experience in the merchant banking, mining exploration and brokerage businesses. As a Managing Director of Toronto-based Thorson Fordyce, he manages structured investments in the resource sector. Mr. Lawrick is also a Managing Partner in Birkenshaw & Co. Ltd, a private partnership specializing in M&A and equity and debt financings. Mr. Lawrick is a director of several public natural resource companies. He holds a B.Comm in Finance and Marketing (1986) from the University of Calgary. | |
| Ian D. Brown Position: Director Ian Brown is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years experience as a financial executive in the mineral exploration industry. He has a wide ranging experience in structuring project and joint venture financings with junior and major companies and in project administration. Mr. Brown has extensive experience in public company listings, including start-ups, IPO's and graduation to senior exchanges. He is currently Chief Financial Officer of La Mancha Resources in addition to his responsibilities at Serengeti. |
